Volunteers - Community Service

Orangevale Grange No. 354

Serving Orangevale and the surrounding communities since 1910.

Volunteers needed:

Game Keepers (15)~ to work in the Fun and Games Zone overseeing games, relays, and activities. Also handing out balloons and prizes.

Bounce Watcher (2) ~ oversee the safety and rules of the Bounce House.

Fair Ambassadors (10) ~ wander thu the Fair handig out Programs to new Fair Goers, making them aware of the Attendance Drawing and answering questions as needed.

Bake Walk Helpers (2) ~ Help the Coordinator at the Bake Walk, help set-up, collect the money, initiate the music and cut it, pull the numbers and announce the winners.

Parking Attendants (8) ~ assist the Parking Coordinator in directing vendors and other participants before the Fair begins. Also then directing Fair going traffic in the lot and to the additional lot at the Church next door.

Go-fers (5) ~ Jack or Jill-of-all-trades doing whatever needs to be done. Could be running messages or delivering "stuff". Whatever needs to be done!

The Grange believes in leadership development and reaches out to all people in an effort to respond to real needs.  Community service builds a better community. In working together with individuals and organizations, the Grange is able to provide assistance when others can't and when individuals alone are not strong enough.  By working together, the Grange builds community and people.

A true Family Fraternity, the Grange welcomes all members of a family. Each member has an equal vote, even if it differs between individuals within a family, be they 15, 46 or 91 years of age.
